What is it with this pronoun thing?

I have had a few emails from officialdom in the past week or so - MP, Council, NHS/RNID.

In each case I got the full names of all the people along with their contact details in this new format:

Date: the date sent
Name: the person sending the email
Contact details: email or address of sender

Pronoun: she/her or he/him

This is snowflakery and wokeism beyond belief. The space and the bold lettering indicating the pronoun were to make sure I was informed.

If the name is Robert, I expect he/him. If its Victoria I expect she/her. What else could they be? "It"?

This is the standard format for CV's from large consultancies now.

You haven't got to Them/They yet have you?

Woke is long gone here, this is DEI and may you DIE of you won't go along with it.

Now imagine this. A CV comes across your desk and the title is They/Them. What do you do? Employ someone who can't work out who and what they are?I'm seriously glad that I won't have to deal with this crap any more. Is it any wonder that young men are hiding at home with their mothers. Open your mouth, speak one word and the whole world of DEI comes crashing down on you.

I have decided that now that I actually know how to speak and write English all the Grammar terms used to teach me English can be forgotten. So I don'g get hung up with words like pronoun. I just look at what people want to label themselves with, shrug and move on.

I can't remember the exact details but saw an article which said there are about 500 different religions and 40 different genders.

Who's bothered what pronoun they use if they don't know what a spanner is?

They look down on people who do know what a spanner is.
