Four minutes more.

Postby Workingman » 12 Feb 2024, 18:09

As from today we will be getting four minutes more daylight every day and that will keep going till late April - half an hour each week. :cute:

And it will seem like more when the clocks go forward in March. :Hi:

What we now need is for the temperatures to go the same way.

Ah, yes, but you are nearer the equator than us Norfies so for a while you get more daylight in the winter. But come the equinox in March things change and in summer we can stay up till after midnight drinking and partying into the small hours.

Eat your hearts out you Suvvners. ;) :D

my chicken coop has an automatic door that's on a timer; last weekend I had to set it to open 15 mins earlier; and this morning I had to do the same again :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

In the middle of winter it usually set to open at 7.30 and close around 4pm. As of today it's set to open 6.45am and close at 5.45pm. Middle of summer it's usually 5am open and 9.30pm closing

we're definitely heading in the right direction

PS: and as I'm sitting her typing this post I can hear the frogs in the pond... spotted six this morning and the first of the spawn has been laid
