Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 24 Feb 2024, 08:13

Good morning.

A lovely day of sunshine. 8-)

No walk today. I'll give my trainers a rest.

I was out every day last week so I'm having a day at home which I'm looking forward to. :D

Had a message from Jacob and they're settled in their New York hotel. :D

A day of reading in the garden, a film tonight and a Chinese takeaway. :D

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Sun and clouds at the moment. We had a lot of rain during the night and showers are forecast.

I'll do the vacuuming and mopping that I didn't do yesterday and then it's haircut time for the pair of us.

Meeting friends down at the bar this afternoon. Two of them haven't visited this part of the Alentejo, so should be an interesting visit for them.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s mostly sunny here but cold. Ironing to be done, and I have a couple of online things to do. Edward has put a nice looking piece of ham in the slow cooker and is making some scones. I need to hop in the shower and get on with the day >>>>>>>

Morning all :)

That sounds nice and peaceful, Al :) I hope J and his girl have a great time :D xx

Happy haircuts, Jan and Grumpy ;) xx

The washing has a habit of that Cruiser :cute:  xx

Ooh a man who bakes! How lovely, Osc :D xx

Enjoy your walk Jen :) xx

We were up early to FaceTime with B - this time difference stuff takes some getting used to  She’s fine, and it looks like she has an au pairing job set up in Adelaide from June onwards :D She’s back to Sydney in a few days, then off on her long tour up the east coast 8-)

We’re at Corretto’s having breakfast, will have a walk round the water shortly, as it’s a fine day, if a bit chilly. Round to D’s afterwards then it should be dry enough to get my plants in :)

Have a good day everyone xxx

Good morning.
A lovely blue sky here, was frosty earlier on.
MrsC has baked some buns too; it must be Baking Day!
We have been for the paper, the High Street is getting like the M1, rather busy.
It will be nice seeing your friends Jan. We had a bottle of wine from your part of the world (Alentejo) last week. Nice and not expensive.
Enjoy the walk Jen, don't do too much.
MrsC is going with our daughter and Eliza to a farm this afternoon; our daughter knows the family and there will be lambs to stroke.
Have a lovely day everyone.

Been April showery today

Met our friends down at the bar and then got highjacked by another friend. She does get rather loud and takes over the conversation, if you let her, so I suggested, when she went to the loo, that we de-camp up here

Had a lovely chat with everyone, they want to swap out house for theirs - not going to happen

Bernie happy to see the rugby result, even if she missed watching it. Grumpy just about to be watching the second half of the England match
