Good morning all.

My mate, A, will be 17 today, Feb 29th, but he has not aged well. Her looks like he's 68 or even older!

Yesterday was a write off. I stayed in all day waiting for two deliveries both of which were given as being between the 24th and 28th and of course they came on the 28th. The last arrived at 15:48 leaving not much time to do anything.

Today is cold and damp as has become the norm. Ah well, it is what it is.

Ally, safe journeys with the flights.

I hope you all have a good day.

Hello and good morning all
Ally - sad reason to be flying over; but it will be lovely for you to see Michele; enjoy the chilled afternoon reading
Kaz - more rain here as well; sigh :( Glad B is having a great time
Jan - fingers crossed for an OK repair bill; ouch!
Cruiser - have a look at a sim only deal (if you're happy with your phone that is)... I had one before I upgraded to a contract with a new phone and it was sooooo much cheaper. Good luck with it
Crommers - enjoy your day. Nice to be able to buy fresh fish!
Jen - do you not have a disabled badge? Even if it's temporary? Enjoy the day out - and nothing sad about being excited about it at all; I'd very much be the same! And agree with the sending sunshine over here bit!
Osc - enjoy your day doing all the bits you are
Saundra - you too have a good day . And yes - remember those years back when we were in SA and it took ages for letters to arrive; oh the excitement of them!

Well day four in the office this week. I've really started disliking the commute and get so annoyed with people  But think that's just February blues; I'm fed up with the rain, the dark, the everything right now - just want warm sunshine and being able to be outside in the garden. I'll get over it

Have a lovely day all x

Jen, I’m inclined to agree with Ria, I think you might well qualify for a Blue Badge. It could make a big difference for you 8-)

I hope you enjoyed M&S, I think I would be excited to get there too if I hadn’t been yet since Christmas!

Just googled it and it would seem that: "Since 1978, parents who take time out of work to care for their children should have had credits added to their records, in a system called Home Responsibilities Protection. But these years were not always recorded meaning state pension calculations aren't correct and payouts are lower than they should have been"

Saundra - you could well be owned money by the government
