He's off again

Next door, that is

Just had a phone call from our solicitor asking why the tree branches haven't been cut down, as we are now past the 30 day deadline.

He had a phone call from next doors solicitor to say that they will be invoking the 100€ a day fine, if it's not done "within a week"

Told him that, due to the weather, our bloke was not happy doing it in the rain, wind and thunderstorms and it will be done as soon as the weather improves.

Hopefully, Sunday, if not, Tuesday.

And Sergio has been told that if Brian comes down, wanting the branches cut nearer the tree, to "nao compreender Ingles"

Oh he really is the complete nightmare for a neighbour.

We're not the only one's who suffer, the Portuguese hate him with a passion.

Karma will happen

You'd think he'd want to make friends and be friendly with
everyone.

Having great neighbours is lovely.
Ours were (when we first moved in) I'd say, probably a bit dubious.

We were the first non Spanish people to move into an area of 14 villas but when they twigged we were here for good, sending our boys to a local school and wanted to integrate they 'accepted ' us and for 20 years have been just the nicest, friendliest most helpful neighbours. :D

I just don't get it either Ally - for a few years I had the most awful upstairs neighbour and it was so stressful trying to avoid her. Having nice neighbours (which Jan and Grumpy are) is such a blessing. Surely Brian and his wife would have a much nicer life if they just got on with vs being so determined to alienate themselves from everyone

We have the best neighbours in David and Rita and before them, Carlos and Judy.

Brain and Lesley just seem to be unhappy people, and he is a controlling bully. Doesn't work with me

As an aside, Sergio has decided that as we haven't heard from ICNF, officially, he's not happy to cut the branches down.

More hassle

So I've spoken to Jose Felipe, who actually works for them, and he is going to do it on Tuesday. With or without the official stuff :Hi:

Similar to us Ally, when we moved into Fuzeta.

The first English in the village :o but we have made some lovely friends, which is why we go down to Fuzeta for our holidays, so we can catch up with them and their families :D

Good morning everybody,

14Cwhen I got up. lots of clous with a few blue patches. No rain.

Going to Chorley on the bus again. Will get some food and probably have lunch out.

Will finish the ironing when I get home. Only two shirts to do. Felt too tired to do them yesterday evening.

Have a good day everybody.
