Morning all, it was very nice when I got up at silly o’clock but has mostly clouded over now. I am on a bus into town, will be meeting my sister at the train station to catch a train to Cork. It is our brother’s 80th birthday and we are taking him out to lunch. As we both have free travel, we have paid the small amount to upgrade ourselves to First Class - I haven’t done it before but my sister has so we’ll see what it is like. Getting the 5.30 train home, it’ll be a long day!
Happy Birthday to your brother Osc, he shares it with Mitchell, who is also 80 today He's already on the champagne and we're heading over there later. Hopefully, he'll be awake
Washing out and another load in the machine.
Gardening for us, if I can stand after the no doubt shenanigans that will be going on at Mitchell's later
I hope Mrs C gets on ok at the dentist, Crommers xx
Happy birthday to your brother Osc, and to Mitchell, Jan xx
Enjoy, Al! xx
It's raining here Hoping it dries up for the weekend, as Mick and his brother are planning to be busy in D's garden Not going shopping with D today, as I was supposed to be going out with our little Pilates gang, so did my shopping yesterday - but the outing got changed to tomorrow after SW instead So Mick and I are wandering out for brunch, then he needs to pick up some more bits for this pergola project
Happy birthday to your brother Osc - how long is the actual train trip? I expect it'll go through some gorgeous countryside? And good thinking re the first class - on some services it really is worth it, others not so much And a very happy 80th to Mitch, Jan - please give him my wishes when you see him later Crommers, good luck for Mrs C with the dentist and enjoy the rest of your day Ally, have a fab day and safe travels for tomorrow Oh that's annoying Kaz, seriously done with all this rain we've had. Fingers crossed it dries up enough for Mick and his brother to do stuff in the garden.
A bit of a cheeky day for me today - vet appointment at 11am for two of the cats (repeat blood tests so hopefully a quick in and out) and then meeting with a friend for lunch at 1pm at a garden centre. Laptop will come with me just in case but because it's the week after Easter, there are loads of people away and it's still nice and quiet.
Morning all it's dullish but mild Nothing happening here So happy birthday to the fellas with cake the Every one seems to be out and about today or getting ready. To go Scarlett is on ,her way to Manchester airport and Turkey So have a good day everyone by for now
Afternoon all, it’s showery here although the light rain has actually been bouncing off the pavements. Like others, I’m so sick of it. We must’ve had a lot overnight too as it was running down the hill up into the woods when I walked Bill first thing.
Busy busy busy day here. Tom completes on his house tomorrow so it’s all systems go…but for now we’re having a break and the two of us are sitting drinking coffee and sharing an Easter egg. He has to go over to the house for a handover meeting this afternoon.
Out of the two lads he’s the one I lock horns with (not to say I don’t moan at Joe but he just takes the mickey and quickly and calmly soothes things over) but I’m feeling ever so emotional. I know he’s moved out before for uni and then briefly with Shannon but this is final and I will miss him very much.
Jo have a hug from me when my eldest left home at nearly 17(long story) it broke my heart. Took me along time to get over it better get that blanket done
