It's a bit of a trek and steep in places - and windy. I bounded up one side of the peak and down the other - too many people but I wanted to see the trig plate.

The reference to trains was just a bit of banter.

The other walks I mentioned are well worth a go if you fancy a hike, as is Black Combe near Silecroft, Cumbria, from where you can see England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales plus the IOM on a clear day.

I couldn't have gone to the top MM - I'd fall off.

When I was younger, I did it, but now now.
