Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 19 May 2024, 04:46

Good morning.

24° at 8.30am heralds another hot and sunny day. 8-)

I'll have a swim soon. :D

I've got a guacamole making session to be getting on with as a neighbour gave me 24 avocados the other day.

The twins are coming over to take us out for lunch. It's a lengthy affair over here so I'm looking forward to a few hours of very enjoyable company. :cute:

TV tonight (depending on whether we're home.)

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Clouds and sun for us today, although it is warming up, just a little

Off to Ourique, as I need cash and we'll also pop into Aldi, so I can get a few things. Some of their lovely bread, to go with leftovers from last nights dinner. Some things as just as good cold as warm ;)

Gardening after that. Grumpy might be able to get more strimming done, depends on how his back is. I'll be cutting back the leaves of various bulbs and digging some up, to give away.

We also have to get rid of the yuccas, as dictated to by the moron  Still can't see why they're on his land, but hey ho.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morningeverybody.

A cool 19C when I got up with the sun in a clear blue sky. So it should get hotter. Am having a phone call fromone of my cousins this morning. It will be to arrange
when i can go and se her. She lives near Wrexham and hasjust come back from holiday.
Will then go out and finish trimming the edge of the lawn and some weeding. It will be hot in the back garden with the sun on it. I have plenty of sun cream.

Have a good day everybody.

Good morning!

The sun is shining and me and Joe are on a road and rail trip to Brighton. Doubtful we’ll see the sea though as it’s an away game so we’ll be heading straight to the stadium.

We’ve left John with a tip trip to do, the second of the weekend and the car is packed full. He also took a car full to the charity shop yesterday and there’s more to be donated been found since in the great garage clear out of 2024.

Have a good day all :D

Morning all, sun and cloud here, it should be warmer but that sneaky east wind is cooling it down. Not much on the agenda today although Edward will be watching lots of sport. I want to finish the ironing, we have visitors arriving for two nights on Wednesday so am trying to keep laundry up to date with no ironing hanging around. Also today, I want to check in for our cruise at the end of June, defuzz my legs and paint my toenails.

Jo, Edward was at the ManU -v- Brighton FA cup final in Wembley in 1983, you can imagine how exciting that was for him! It ended in a draw and was replayed a few days later. Enjoy your day :D

Morning all :D

Lovely sunshine 8-)

We had planned a short drive out yesterday, but although it didn't rain, the weather stayed miserable all day.

We've had a lie in, only just having brekkie/lunch. After a few weeks off, I'll be cooking a roast for dinner. Still being careful so Ed will lift the chicken in/out of the oven and transfer the saucepans when full to/from the hob. He's been doing that for some time so back to normal really. It won't be long before I'm doing a jelly and blancmange again, but for a while yet it will be ice cream for pud.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good afternoon.
A lovely warm spring day here.
Beef for Sunday dinner.
I must put the car through a car wash today, it is absolutely filthy.
Steady away Jen and good luck at Brighton Jo.
The salix is in full bloom now in the back garden, it does look lovely.
Enjoy your lunch Ally and your gardening Cruiser. Deep breaths re the moron Jan. Osc, I daresay booking in for the cruise will be more enjoyable than the ironing.
Have a lovely day everyone.

Afternoon everyone :)

Aw how nice, Ally! Enjoy their company :) LOL @ the guacamole! xx

Grrr to your annoying neighbour Jan  xx

That will be nice Cruiser :) xx

Have fun, Jo :D xx

Hi Osc :) xx

Ice cream sounds a perfect pud in this weather Jen :) xx

How pretty, Crommers :) xx

A totally gorgeous day here! Perfect blue sky, and very warm 8-) We've had a very scenic drive up to Jolly Nice in the Cotswolds. We took the pretty route up through Stroud and Edge :) It's a lovely cafe/farm shop combo up there - we sat outside and had breakfast with Em and Dave :) They gave Mick a giant bar of chocolate as a little thank you for fixing their internet and phone cables on Friday, after a workman accidentally cut through them :D No doubt he will need my help eating it later :P ;)

Popped in to see D on our way home :)

Got some salmon in the airfryer, to cool down for a salad later :) Will be phoning my boys in a bit - Harry will talk for England, whereas Chris is very much like my dad used to be on the phone - very "yes" "no" type of conversations  ;)

Take care all :) xxx
