Good morning Monday

Postby Ally » 24 Jun 2024, 04:53

Good morning.

Knocking on 40° door again so another hot one.

I'm meeting Ely at 8am for our convowalk. Now that her daughters are on school holiday she doesn't have to do the school run first so we can get out and back before it gets too hot to trot.

It's the festival of San Juan so a holiday. Everything will be closed except the bars which is handy as we're going out to watch the footy.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Rather warm already and will only get hotter 8-)

Took an age to do the watering as one of the hose pipes wouldn't stay on one of the taps, so I had to do most of it by watering cans  A lot of walking

I'll try and get the ironing done that I didn't yesterday, was too hot by the time I had some time to do it. It can always wait ;)

Down to the bar later, with salad for dinner, before the footie.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s dull here but warm and even a bit humid. We walked Kellie to school, Edward carried on to play golf and I’m back home, I’ll strip her bed before I go to my class. We had a lovely weekend with Kellie here, she’s no trouble, and she had the nice relaxed day yesterday that she needed. So now it’s full steam ahead with getting everything ready to go away early Thursday. Cases down from the attic later today, I’ve some phone calls to make, and various other bits and pieces to be done. Better get on with it!

Good morning, a lovely and bright one it is too.
We are off to get sone stuff in for a salad later.
Just done the Telegraph crossword, surprisingly.
Son has just bought a guitar, a Fender Telecaster. He likes Fenders.
Ally, enjoy the convowalk! I'd be out of breath.
Have a nice day everyone.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny 8-)

I make shopping lists too Cruiser, at my age it saves a lot of time and bother

Yesterday we finally got the front garden sorted, it's all looking much better now.
It's so glorious here today we'll be sitting in the garden. First we need to give the furniture a good brush down and get the cushions out of storage. It would normally be done by now, but the summer's been so late coming this year, lets hope it lasts.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Morning all :)

Out in town waiting for Em, she just rang me and won’t be long.

More VV vibes for my friend’s daughter would be hugely appreciated as G isn’t doing as well as hoped. It’s all quite worrying :(

Love to all xxx
