Good morning.

We'd been issued with heat warnings all weekend and have another one until 9pm tonight so another day of keeping as cool as possible in and around the pool.
We succumbed to aircon last night watching TV and when we went to bed.

Thank goodness for Mercadona prepared salads as that's what's for dinner.

Have a great day.

Good morning Ally and everyone

Gosh Ally, good idea staying by the pool / in the shade. Hopefully it'll drop a few degrees soon; what temperatures are they expecting / did you have?
Comparatively here - it was down to 10 degrees last night and I've put the summer duvet back on the bed. It's now 8am, and 14 degrees outside and I'm sitting here with a long sleeved t-shirt, cardi and slippers on my feet - and it's mid August!

Work from home day for me so the usual mix of work and pootle.

Have a good day all x

Morning all :)

Ally, good thinking on the aircon, if it helps you sleep xx

Ria I’m not dressed yet, but definitely something with sleeves today  xx

The usual Monday is planned - meeting Emma in town. I need to get a white wash on first, and make some breakfast - scrambled eggs for me, porridge and fruit for Mick :) We bought the laminate for the conservatory yesterday, so Mick will be cracking on.

Have a good day everyone xxx

Good morning everybody.

The temperature is dropping. It is only 18C this morning. I have put a woolly jumper on.
Will finish the ironing. Got some phone calls to make and then just pootling.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning everyone

Gorgeous morning, breezy, so keeping us cool in the shade but warm in the sun 8-) Only 36C for us later, much better.

Done all the outside stuff, including given one of the donkey's his morning carrots. I've also stuffed all the roots from Lucy's orchid back into the pot  <i'm obviously looking after it too well, it's growing a lot.

I would like to spring clean the back terrace this morning, as the spiders have taken over and there are cobwebs everywhere  Sadly, our vac won't clean the tiles that well, so it's a brush and then the hand held one, for the deep cracks.

Salad again tonight. I had thought of cooking, but decided against it

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s dull and drizzly here, don’t know what the temperature is outside. I’m going shopping, I started off with a short list which has been growing! I also have a bag of clothes for the charity box in TK Maxx. Edward went off to play golf. I’ll just do the usual tidy around before heading out.

Jeez - that is too hot! Said it before and will say it again - the poor people and animals that have to work in that because they have no choice. Hopefully lots of tubs of water out for all the creatures / critters that will be desperate for it in that weather

Good morning.
Grey and not warm here. Suffice it to say that I am now wearing a vest.
44c! Way too much.
We have just had to run our daughter through to see a friend and her child. The Qashqai wouldn't start this morning. The other morning neither of their cars would start. If they need a battery I'd fit it for them. It does need sorting, if you have a car you need it to start!
Have a good day everyone.

If I could control the weather I'd have it at 30° in the summer.

We all do our best to keep everything and everyone hydrated. :P

Doesn't bother our lads as they and their girlfriends are off to the Malaga feria today.
