Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 24 May 2025, 05:40

Good morning.

Sunny and forecast 35°. 8-)

Off to do my walk shortly before it gets too hot to enjoy.
I'm so pleased as I'm back to full fitness and able to do my 8km walks again. :cute: :cute:

We've got a birthday BBQ at a friend's today and swimming cossies are invited too.

Have a great day.

Morning all :D

We've had rain, it's windy and overcast now.

We were up at silly o'clock to do the M&S trolley dash, it was raining and decidely chilly. Looking out of the window I think we're in for more showers, altogether a miserable day. It's definitely not the liquid sunshine we enjoyed in Barbados so I don't think we'll be going out again today.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Morning all, it’s a strange day weather wise - lots of cloud, very warm when the sun hits a bit of blue sky, humid and windy. We’ve just been for a walk around the block before the hordes descend, there is a music festival on this weekend so the pubs will be busy. The final wash is in the machine, I’ll peg it out on the clothes rail and it can stay there until we get back. I’ll be cleaning the bathrooms then part packing. I need to pay the credit card bill, also I realised that the connections on my new iPad may not work with the ones for my camera, so we need to have a look at that. All working towards having as little to do as possible tomorrow other than final packing.

Morning all, it’s stopped raining now but is still dull, breezy and quite cool. Not used to this! It’s supposed to warm up and be a bit brighter this afternoon though.

I had a hair cut at 9am so met John for breakfast in Wetherspoons after that. He’s now gone over to Tom’s to do some work. Tom wanted his patio extending so that’s happening this weekend, he’s had the slabs, sand and cement delivered and there’s a skip coming today. The plan then is to have borders cut all the way around the garden and to get them planted up. He’s got garden furniture and we’ve got a cast iron barbecue that he can have.

I’m off to Stafford shortly as Joe’s offered to George-sit. There’s not much I need but I’ll enjoy a mooch around the shops. Jade’s over this evening, she had an interview to do her Masters at Birmingham Uni this week but now has to wait until July to see if she’s been successful.

Have a good day all :)

Good afternoon.
Grey here but not cold.
We have had fish and chips for dinner and now Ethan is here. He's stopping overnight so goodbye sleep.
I'll watch the bikes later.
Looking forward to reading about your adventures in due course Saundra.
Enjoy the day everyone.

Afternoon everyone :)

Well I just tapped out a long reply to everyone and promptly lost it, as D’s Wi-Fi locked me out

So I will just *wave* to everyone and add my day ;) xx

We’ve been out for breakfast with Em and Dave, then went to the Virgin Holidays concession inside the big Next at the Cheltenham retail park and booked a holiday - 4 nights in Dubai in December :Hi: The four of us are going, Em spotted the deal and suggested we all go. Something to look forward to before the winter sets in. We’re round at D’s now, although B has gone out with Daisy to meet friends.

Love to all xxx
