Good morning Wednesday

Good morning.

Mini heatwave for a few days forecasting 40°.

Meeting Ely at 9 for our convo walk. :D

Cooling by the pool after that.

Conor's coming over late afternoon and we'll go out for cold beer and a bite to eat.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Mini heat wave for us too, for a few days. 37C for us.

Been anointing the patient and I really wish he would get more patience. It's working it's way down his arms now, so only a couple more days, hopefully.

I'm leaving him on his own today, as I'm off on a jolly with a couple of friends. Off to Milfontes again, so we'll have the benefit of the Atlantic breeze :Hi: Will have some lunch somewhere and then meeting a new lady to the area, down at our bar.

Will ring Sergio later, to get him to move the battery. It's too heavy for me to lift and Grumpy just can't at the moment.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everyone

Ally, enjoy the ConvoWalk and then relaxing. Sounds the sensible thing to be doing given the weather.
Jan, have a fab day out - enjoy lunch
Cruiser, enjoy your day and wise about spending money so the taxman doesn't get it.

I'm on my way to the office so nothing exciting to report.

Have a lovely day everyone x

Morning everyone :)

Goodness, that is hot Ally! Good idea to take it easy 8-) xx

Warm for you too Jan! Enjoy the jolly :D xx

Morning Cruiser :) xx

Hope the office day goes well Ria. How are you settling in? xx

It’s a sunny day here, fresh after yesterday’s rain. I’m currently in the basement at Boots, where the optician’s is. D is having her eyes tested, and I came into town with her. We’ll have a little mooch in M&S afterwards, then a quick cuppa there, and then back to hers for lunch - Mick will meet us there. He’s busy this morning messing about with the parasol stand bits that Em bought in IKEA when we went last week. Dave isn’t very handy, so Mick said he’d have a go

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning all :D

Sunny 8-)

The sun didn't last long yesterday, it was really miserable, rain most of the day. Fingers crossed it's here to stay today, planning to drive over to Waitrose, park up, and then tackle the hill down to the harbour for a good walk round. We can pick up a few bits from the store on the way back. Expect I'll be cream crackered by the time we get home so no other plans.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good aftrnoon.
We have been to get the paper and put son's bins back; he is in York with his gf.
There appears to be a family wedding coming up in Cambridge; it's our neice and we've been invited. It's next January.
We need to do a bit of co-ordinating about that.
Otherwise a serene day trundles along.
Enjoy the day everyone.

Crommers, I’m glad that the nephews in South Wales are all married now  Those all took some coordinating with Bill to consider. It wasn’t so bad with the first two as he wasn’t diabetic then and my parents were able, after some persuasion, to have him overnight but when the youngest got married in 2023 we had to leave him at mother in law’s house half an hour away from the wedding venue and then had to pop back a few times to give him his meds and check on him.
