Good morning.

Heatwave hot. 8-)

I'll have a walk to end up at the hairdresser for my monthly snip.

Home to shower etc then David's picking me up and we're going to Miramar on a shopping spree.

He's joining us tonight for Friday beers and tapas as is Conor who will stay the night. :D

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Hot here too

I'm off to Ourique soon, to be the stupid person who stands up for an hour or more, to make a doc's appointment for this afternoon Grumpy has finally said he needs help and more than just painkillers, so that means he really is in pain and suffering.

I had hoped to get some gardening done this morning, but by the time I get back, it will be too hot, so will waft a feather duster around and mop the floors instead.

Will prep dinner, tuna salad, Algarve style.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Hello you two and everyone; good morning

Ally, sounds quite like the perfect day - enjoy.
Jan, hope you manage to get an appointment; good luck! And I now have this mental picture of you prancing about in a tutu wafting a feather wand (aka duster)

Friday = WFH for me; yay! Dull and grey out there, but warm. I'll use my lunch break to head to Sainsbury's; the fridge is rather bare. But going to take a bit of time before I head out to have a look through some recipe cards and hopefully find some inspiration for some new / flavoursome / exciting vegetarian dishes.

Have a lovely day all xx

Good morning everybody.

It is 18C this morning even though there are grey clouds.

Going to Chorley again for some shopping. I should have been going to Preston to have lunch with a lady freind. But she phoned me on Monday to say she had had a fall.
Lots of bruises including one on her face, anothe on her chest and she now has difficulty using her right arm and hand. She is 87 and lives on her own.

Ria, I go to Lidl and Tesco. To get to Sainsury's means going through town whichis a nightmare even during the normal quiet periods.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all, it’s quite bright and definitely milder.

George has been walked, the washing is on the line and I’m now waiting for the Tesco delivery. Joe’s busy working from home in the office upstairs but you can bet that the minute I say goodbye to the Tesco man and shut the door he’ll be down here to see what’s been delivered and if there’s anything for a nice mid morning snack

The window cleaner is due today, once he’s been I’ll get the lawns cut.

Tom FaceTimed me last night, he was sitting on his new patio with a coffee. He showed me his garden and he’s done a lovely job of it. He’s filled the borders with plants and solar lights and has bought pots for on his patio. He had mother in law’s garden furniture, it’s the wicker effect stuff with a coffee table and she’d only had it a year.

Gotta go, Tesco are here…have a good day all :D
