I ordered a pair which should be here by Monday but will still go to the outlet and maybe perhaps buy a pair in a different colouror pairs in other colours

I paid $15 for a pair in the outlet store in Florida in a colour I couldn't get over here for love or money!

Really really hoping this will work out. One of my oldest internet friends (we go back almost 18 years) is going to be in LA for a few days while we're there so we're going to try to meet up. She's an Aussie, just retired and is spending 6 months travelling in the US. So many miles between us normally and I didn't ever think we'd get chance to ever meet.

Gosh Jo, that will be just so amazing! Fingers and toes crossed it does work out for you both, it'll be so lovely to put a face to the name and get to meet the real person.

As for the shoes - it would be rude to not buy several pairs you know; think of all the money you sort of are saving by doing that and not needing to buy here

Looks like I'll have to take a larger suitcase than originally planned then
When we came back from Florida, there wasn't another inch of room to spare in the suitcases once all purchases were in so I had to dump an old almost worn out pair of Converse before we flew home
