oops - forecast for today said a bit of drizzle at about 9am; so I risked hanging out the larger items on the line as I need to pop out.
Well, drizzle = downpour

Oh well, I'm sure it'll stop at some point and the rest of the day in meant to be windy; so it can dry in it's own time

Oh no, poor Humphrey; hopefully he was somewhere sheltered - animals are usually good at 'sniffing' out bad weather and will scurry away. But it's going to be chilly on his belly for a while :-(

Poor Humphrey :(

Ria, I keep getting caught out too. Forecasts of light showers, or drizzle, actually turn out to be an hour or two of heavy rain.

He hadn't even got up at that point, I just feel for him when it turns cold But it warmed up and he was up and eating and head butting the edging as usual

I think our local bar should come with a health warning

We went down to do the recycling and also to check the post, as I'm waiting for my new driving licence.

At 3.00pm, thinking that no-one would be there

Cue Darren, Mick turning up, having been fishing all day.

Then their wives turned up, then the sheep shearers (gawd, they stick) and the local builders, then Dominic, then Chris and Lucy and also Sergio and Tina, with her sister.

We spread out over three large tables and a little one, and got home four hours later

Good fun though.

And it was lovely and warm 8-)

It was lovely Saundra, although the sheep shearers and the cork cutters do pong a little  And the cork cutters always have ants all over them
