They were quite willing to offer a refund and for peeps to just book another flight on another day. :?

They don't think that people make plans.

Obviously they didn't know I have friends to meet Thursday afternoon!

Saying that...I've never had a problem with Ryanair up till now. ;)

Reason #223 why I love my job - my last class of B2 students came in and started talking about the Trump victory. 45 minutes later they were still yapping away (all in English) so the lesson plan went right out the window!

Brilliant  :D

I've used Ryanair loads of times too Ally and never had a problem either. Think about this too, a return ticket to Dublin cost £20 each for our flight the other day. I paid £6.20 for a return bus ticket to get to the dentists 3 miles away on Monday (would've walked but there are a couple of impossible roads to cross with no crossing points).

Official disaster status here - kettle kaput!!!
On a Sunday!!
There is no shop open on a Sunday here that sells kettles.

Anyway I remembered meriad's post about her low noise kettle and wanted on of those so got onto amazon...out of stock till Tuesday! :x
We have a travel one, it doesn't even do two mugs full, we have to take turns
