Our liberal intelligensia

There is a gentleman who writes for the Independent newspaper called Ian Birrell. Today he wrote an article about the poor old migrants, poor, persecuted, etc etc etc.

The point being he was seriously saying, let's do away with all borders and let whoever wants to come to Europe, come to Europe. So Mr Birrell thinks it's quite OK for all poor Africans to walk into Europe, no problem at all.

There's no wonder I get depressed sometimes. Of all the stupid, half baked, knock kneed ideas I have ever heard, this one takes the biscuit.

The population of Africa is going through the roof and will continue to do so at an increasingly fast rate.

So let's see. What will your poor African do? Stay in the Central Republic of Hellholia with no job, no dole, no health care and an excellent chance of an early death, or up sticks and head for the promised land, before sending word back to his Uncle Abdul and the rest of the family to get themselves here quick?

I give up.

His brain rental expired and he doesn't have the money to extend.

His common sense rental expired a long time ago and his brain doesn't think it needs to be renewed...

I'd go for a refund but he's probably happy in his place. We should all chip in for a white overcoat with the hand warmers and nice tapes to keep them comfortably secured in place....

So do I.
It beats me how politicians and their cronies fail to see the outcome of their decisions.
Stop almost any person in the street, and the chances are that he or she will tell you
the best way to deal with the problems facing this country. It's seems that politicians,
once they get into power, now lose their common sense.
