Juncker is confused

As to what the greeks are saying in the referendum.

Really? You were certain on Monday when you were saying...

"The whole planet would consider a Greek No to the question posed as meaning that Greece wants to distance itself from the eurozone and from Europe,”

I can understand his confusion though. I mean, it's Democracy. As the head of the commission he wouldn't know what that is if it fell on his head. They just push out Diktat after Diktat and it's the flunky Government's job to push it on the people. No democracy needed or wanted.

He tries to play the game and contend that because the package they were voting on had expired. Well, let me try and help you Mr Juncker.

"Not that one and NOTHING remotely like it".

So having had their say, the rest of the EU, ECB and IMF can rest assured that Tsipras will not be coming to the table to discuss the terms of their submission to the terms of a bailout. They will be coming to you with a demand for a different solution. Not a request. If the answer is NO, then it will be...

'k you and the horse you rode in on.....

Essentially the Greeks have voted to leave the Euro if their only option is abject submission.

I shall be reading the news tonight but I expect nothing more than ruffled feathers and wagon circling with Greece on the outside firing arrows.

Junckers is peripheral, anyway.

The main players are now Merkel, Hollande and Tsipras.

Merkel has demanded "very precise proposals", but Tsipras has a mandate from the people, and they, the Troika, do not like that.

The UK will, one day, also have a mandate from the people.

These things scare the Eurocrats, and their followers. Individual countries can have referendums any time they like. The EU cannot stop them.

I like the EU, but it does have to change. The Greek thing might just be the start.

That would be a good move in general. But as I've pretty much written it off as an anti democracy autocracy, I don't really want it to get a bit better. I want to tear it down to the foundations and start again...
