I did read it.

Both you WM and Cromwell are right in that it's the 'king useless EU politicians who are now driving this crisis.

Sadly I believe that creating camps in Serbia will enable those 'king useless politicians to make it much, much worse.

They need to be sent back and they need to be sent back now. Clearly that is not going to happen until someone, finally, realises that if we don't well have 100 million of them trying to get in....

So you agree.

But when all the things you and I, and millions of others, want to happen are not happening due to politics can we really accept the possible deaths of these illegal immigrants on EU soil?

I really, really, do not want it to happen, but I fear it will.

Their deaths will solve nothing unless the EU borders are closed.

When will that happen? Who, of our EU politicians, is gong to say that enough is enough?

France has started using CS gas.

I guess patience with people who won't obey the law is wearing thin. At the same time the UK is holding firm. Make all the plans they want, the UK will take selected refugees direct from the camps but absolutely nobody who illegally enters the EU.

Orban is right. The EU is telling the world they are "Rich and Weak". The worst possible combination in this scenario.

I see Romania, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary voted against accepting mandatory quotas and Finland abstained. The UK, Ireland and Denmark can opt-in if they want, but they won't.

That is quite a bloc not playing the game.

I just hope Cameron holds firm on this. I don't want to see any of these "gimmegrants" here.

If I remember correctly, border issues are one of the veto issues. I can see Orban vetoing if they try to force him.

The problem with the EU is that every time you use a veto the next treaty update tries to remove the veto.
