The word should be "terrorist" and I have already said that is sickens me for the media to ascribe attrocities to certain groups as those groups can then use the claims as recruitment adverts.

However, it has to be said that most of the terrorist campaigns being carried out, world wide, are claimed by "Islamist" terrorists. They might well have hijacked that religion for their own ends, but its teachings do make its followers easy targets to recruit.

I think the majority of people in the UK are apprehensive about the huge numbers of migrants making their way into Europe and the lack of a cohesive policy on the best way of dealing with the apparent unending flow of people. The fact that women have been attacked in Germany supposedly by economic migrants and the behaviour of some them i.e. defaecating in the local swimming baths, when they have been welcomed and offered sanctuary by the German government, must make many German people anxious about how the two different cultures will integrate. I wonder how many such incidents have been deliberately suppressed in an attempt to allay fears.

The Finns have a good idea, they are requiring all male refugees/migrants to attend classes on cultural norms and behaviour, which are apparently helping the new citizens to learn what behaviour is expected from men in our western society - especially behaviour towards women!

If the new arrivals fail to conform to the Finns' civilised cultural norms, what happens to them?

All the courses in the world are a waste of time if there is no real punishment (deportation) to back them up. We should also be questioning why these men treat women in such awful ways and if they can, indeed, be reformed.

Our own "Christian" society used to treat women as "chattel" and it took us hundreds of years to get out of it. Women who were chaste and always respectable were respected, but women who refused to conform to what was expected were treated quite badly compared to our own norms today.

The way women are treated in society has changed radically in my lifetime. Groping, something men talked about and bantered about a lot during my youth, was considered either normal or just sport. The fact that I found it distasteful sometimes set me aside and ostracised me, especially in the Army. Yet, today, that same attitude can land you in jail.

Our own attitudes have changed radically in only the last 50 years. Trying to hold those who come from a society which treats women much as we did in the middle ages was never going to work and anyone who thought it would was a complete idiot.

This, as I see it, is not the problem. The problem is we actively advertise that those who come in don't need to change as their right to be "different" is paramount and overrides our right not to be treated the way their society says we should be. That is, in part, our fault. Had we been harsh and unbending they would have understood that as their culture is harsh and unbending. Being weak and ineffectual was never going to work. I'm often reminded of the stories of the American Indians who would torture a man to death to see how he resisted. It was not because they were white, it was what they did to every enemy.

What those immigrants fail to realise is that under that layer of wishy, washy liberalist BS, there is a layer of steel. It is something we have done to our young too. Protect them from the realities of life until they are 16 or 18 then suddenly thrown them in jail for things that were tolerated when they were younger.

It can't end well and adding more and more numbers to an existing problem is only going to make the bad ending a bigger problem.

I have been watching the series on the "last war", on TV. violence is not only a Muslim problem, "the world is cruel in turmoil", man is cruel, and anything is possible...compassion does not exist..I have truly wept the series on TV seeing the innocent Jews, unsuspecting men women and children by the thousands being taken on train journeys in Germany during the last war thinking they were safe, and on arrival being marched into the mammoth gas chambers and literally "thrown" into pits naked when the job was done, then emptying the gas chambers ready for he next innocent's terrible deaths..."Lest we should forget" let's face it power is dangerous, as we observing as world wide atrocities are committed against innocent's by the day..
We have idiots in Power, other than the cronies in the Lords, and us old ones those in power don't know the meaning of war, the loss and the suffering the unspeakable atrocities committed , they can read about it but probably its "too boring" for the subject to be part of the school curriculum for most..they can give lip service and it ends there..
Patronising would be terrorists, allowing Them to return to this country following joining IS or any other warfaring terrorist organisation "for whatever reason is insanity, we have loving good Muslims equally by the thousands who are afraid to speak out .

I have lived and worked in Moslem countries and do agree that the vast majority of them want to live out their lives peacefully, just as we do. However, their religion is all-pervasive in their daily lives - it controls all they do and think - and as everybody works and thinks the same way it allows them to get along.

Take them out of that kind of environment and they will see things alien and possibly disgusting to them. The only way to control that is to be firm with them - as they are with us. Unfortunately we have gone the other way and tried to accommodate them, so now WE have a problem.

I do not blame us, the general public, for this un-acceptance of their religion, but TPTB for trying to make us like and accept it.

I have never understood why it is intolerable to accept a racist bigot in the majority; but acceptable to tolerate a racist bigot in the minority.

I never will. Until the day I die...
