Dump the Trump?

Postby Workingman » 24 Nov 2016, 15:51

It is said that Wisconsin is going to have a re-count of the election result.

In itself it will not be enough to overturn the result and Trump will still become President. However, Michigan and Pennsylvania could also hold recounts, and the three together could be enough to force... err, who knows.

What would happen then is in unknown territory. I certainly would not like to be living in the States should Trump get the boot.

They think that the riots of Clinton supporters were bad... If they think they can dump Trump by holding recounts and fiddling the numbers, then they are unlikely to be prepared for the level of civil unrest that will follow.

In short, Clinton did not inspire and did not have the support. I was just reading an article on that today where the analysis of here 43% support was that it was simply not enough and the Karma was not with her.

If they do this, they will try and overturn the result based on the votes from 3 major cities. That will cause absolute mayhem.

I don't think, in the final analysis, that this will succeed. But it does show the extent that the establishment is willing to go to in order to override the wishes of the people.

It's one thing with Al Gore and Bush where Bush won in Florida by the skin of his teeth in a state which who's governor was the brother of the winner.

This is something else entirely and I would not put it past Trump for him to call his supporters into civil unrest.
