This 'con' business regarding recycling is very unfair.

A lot does depend on where you live, I accept that, but to call it all a 'con' is disingenuous.

PET, our one-off plastic bottles can be recycled indefinitely once it is cleaned, and that takes a lot less energy and resources than producing new items. Glass is even better. It saves something like 300kg per tonne of CO2 compared to new glass production, and it uses fewer natural resources in the process.
