Election campaign hacking

Postby Suff » 06 May 2017, 12:35

It seems Macron has now been hacked and is subject to a lot of misinformation about him being blended in with real information.

My crocodile tears are flowing. Isn't that what he has been doing all along? It must be an irony almost too great to bear. The French News outlets have been warned off from touching it. I think the French are about to get their Trump moment when they find people turning to non traditional media outlets to get their hands on the documents themselves.

It seems to be a thing now, influencing elections by ripping out the reality of what public wanabees are saying in private. I wonder when it will occur to them to set up with security professionals in the first place?

I hope never. When I read the news this morning it was one of the best laughs for a long time. Macron of the elite being hacked by the little man, then the little man publishing the real deal and some fake news. Hoist by one's own petard.

If these elites are going to take steps to keep us ordinary folk under surveillance they should not be surprised if we do the same back.

This is the same Macron who filed a lawsuit about Le Pen accusing him of holding offshore accounts. However, I read that in the debate she only made more public a rumour already circulating,. I am not sure that is illegal, as such.

He will probably win the election, but it could be a closer run thing than the pollsters and media desperately want us to believe. He will then get to govern France in a way many of her citizens do not like. A one term president if ever there was one.

I wish I had a vote in France on Sunday.

I'm afraid I don't believe the hacking story. Russia is being built up as the big bad bogeyman and it's pretty ridiculous.

Russia interferes in elections? George Soros and his worldwide network of NGO's have been interfering in the politics of other countries for years, but that never gets a mention.

Oh he was hacked all right, the files are on Pastebin at line 15, all 9GB of them.

Who did the hacking is anybody's guess.

Soros is a strange one. He is seen as a philanthropist having given away something like $15bn of his own money to 'his' good causes. Yet the hedge funds he operated were renowned for, shall we say, pushing the boundaries of good practice - Black Wednesday anyone.

His NGOs have probably swayed more elections in more countries than all the hackers who have ever lived.
