We are currently consuming 1.7 Earths every year and it keeps on getting worse.
Nobody really knows how long we can keep on using up 1.7 Earths, or worse, because the calculations are complicated and the goalposts keep moving. What we do know it that there is not an Earth 2.0 to turn to.
