Boom tish!
I never quite got the Obama love. His supporters will say he did nothing because the Republicans controlled the Senate and blocked him, his detractors will just detract. His election was significant in terms of equality though, for certain.
I dunno Suff, it's just that surely the both parties must have within them someone better? Trump is as he is but he's the sitting President so you can see why he gets the nod; but if Joe Biden is the best the Democrats have then crikey they aren't spoiled for choice.

Cromwell, Trump was a wildcard in more ways than one. Nobody gets to the top of the heap without having created heaps of "markers" on which the powers of state can call. Thus controlling the president at times when those in power think he is going too far.

Trump was never there and we see where that got us. No matter what he tried to do there was always someone willing to try and stop him do what he had promised the people.

What I suspect, about Biden, is that he is the only "controllable" candidate who was really willing to stand up against Trump. Once Trump is gone, the field will widen again, I'm sure.
