The place we stayed at in Salcombe two years ago has gone up from under £800 per to about £1200 :shock: We’re only going for 4 nights this time, but it’s still pushing £800

More than a decade ago we were talking about spending a fortnight in Scotland, staying in B&B and hotels and walking the mountains. Then we looked at the price and realised we could get a month in Portugal "with" flights and car hire whilst there for less.

We gave up on that idea pretty rapidly.

I cant look at it Kaz it wants me to sign in, but thats good, hopefully the anti-social brits will go back to their old vacations and give me my Cornwall back 8-) 8-)

Although I can see that is February and in Feb my lovely apartment is only £440

Ok, well the 5 night one in Greece was £399 pp and a week all inclusive £499.
