My point too. Because if they do stick the boot in on day 1, they expose themselves as antagonists who cannot be satisfied. Any reasonable thinking person would have to assume they need to be ignored.

The problem is that the politics of the UK has replaced thinking with polarisation.

Those who understand Binary and those who do not.

I beg to differ.

If the hard right / far right groups within the Tory party choose a lightweight who changes her political persuasions and attitudes to social issues at the drop of a hat - similar to another recent leader - we, the public, have every goddamn right to stick the boot in from the very first minute.

If it triggers the blue rinse and monocle brigades and their supporters so much the better.

As for antagonism and being satisfied: she could prove us wrong and we would accept that. It is, however, given her track record, very unlikely.
