Apparently nothing, zilch, nada, sweet FA...

It is an eight month old headline of predictions by the Mail, Express, Telegraph and GB News about what would be in the Oct 2024 budget.

Few of them came to pass, as tends to happen with baseless predictions.

Given the howls of anguish from Labour at the £22 billion black hole, Sir Keir had hardly had time to move into No 10 before he had bequethed a further £3.4 billion to Mauritious to take the Chagos Islands off our hands, provking an array of comments from 'a good deal', 'a bad deal', and a totally unnecessary deal. Still, at least Sir Keir, the Globalist, can prance about on the International Stage knowing he had 'done the right thing'. Hold onto your hats Gibalter - you may be next in Labour's line of fire.

So, in October 2024 the UK complied with The International Court of Justice (ICJ) and the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea, which both stated that the UK had an obligation to return the islands to Mauritius. What should we have gone; broke the law?

We handed authority back to Mauritius, the right thing to do, but we also negotiated the lease of the base on Diego Garcia for 99 years. It is an important military base for NATO and we are paying a fair price. Where is the problem?
