Given that the government will pay back significantly MORE money to PFI, than they borrowed. Then PFI is a way of funnelling long term cash into private organisations....

Bonds are much lower interest than PFI and PFI tends to be local to the country and not international like bonds.

You are correct that the mess BB made of our country is nothing to do with the EU. The EU just made it easier for them to make a mess of us....

Yes, but bonds are offered to allow a government to operate, in general terms.

PFI, on the other hand, is for specific infrastructure projects. It is more costly, no doubt about that, but the EU rules that it be open to all bidders, not just those from the UK, is not wrong and can reduce costs.

And whilst this country sinks deeper into the mire, B'liar, Brown, Mandelson, and the rest of the crooks get richer by the day..
Peace Envoy? B'liar uses his title to line his pockets organising contracts for oil in the country he has destroyed, and waffling how to be the perfect PM, the man should be hung. What has he done for mankind to warrant his title?
it was he who created the mayhem in the middle east that has spread as I said it would like a virus. He has his companies so secretly set up that it is impossible to know what he is up to, this I believe includes some sort of secret charity he has set up in his portfolio..
We should not forget his money box wife's dealings with the Australian crook whom she knowingly took on to obtain properties for her children..
How can we trust any of theses opportunists who, if they were outside of the protection of government they would join the other fraudsters and criminals sitting behind bars.
I am ashamed to be British, we have been stripped of our birth right to be referred to as English stripped of our dignity, our Uman Rites our democracy is and has been eroded by the day, thanks to those idiots present and past in Westminster.

I'm not making myself clear.

Regardless of who does the work. The Banks and financial institutions make a killing on it from the interest payments. That is funnelling government money to institutions they could not get money to any other way, without buying them. Any other way is illegal under EU laws.

I contend that Blair and Brown knew they were going to need to funnel cash into the banks and chose to do it this way. The EU way. Devious to the end. Dishonest up front and legal by default....
