Putin prepares for war.

Postby KateLMead » 02 Apr 2014, 18:07

Obama has threatened he is ready to go to war if Putin puts one foot in Poland. And our idiot Cameron and Co are ready to strike if necessary.
What the hell have we got to fight with? I see the French are keeping their noses out.
If we attempt to show the slightest intention of confrontation, we could be flattened, and let us also consider Iran who in my opinion would support Putin with massive military support. Our leaders need their head testing.

It's sabre rattling.

There will be no war, at least nothing major.

There would be no point as there'd be no winners, only losers, and all the world leaders realise that.

There have been no winners in Iraq or Afghanistan, but it didn't stop B'Liar sending our troops to war with inferior arms, killing And maiming God Knows how many innocents....we can see the results in Libya and the terrible massacre in Syria....
I would like to think that there will be no repercussions, however on learning that Obama has threatened military action
Cameron the TWIT has stated he will get involved I am not so sure.
Let us hope we remain on the outside for a change. One warmonger like B'Liar this century is enough.

That better be all it is, because there are some pretty big sabres out there, and this time it is the big boys squaring up to each other not some proxy war in a godforsaken place nobody gives a toss about.

Could WW3 be in the offing?

If so, and it materialised, we could say goodbye to life as we now know it.

It would undoubtedly develop into a nuclear conflict.

Maybe it is just sabre rattling. Some sabres !

No time for complacency, why do these idiotic thugs in power have to keep flexing their muscles ready "for a fight"
Then go on to make millions like B'Liar following his heinous crimes.
To think ONE man can put the lives of millions at risk without public consent is lunacy
I thought few would agree with this post, seemingly there are a few who are concerned as I am.
Better these warmongers concentrated on sorting out the corruption and filth that swamps governments, Maria Miller
Is the latest who has full government support. The greed of politicians reflects all forms, from stealing
From the tax payer, fraud, is rife "and getting away with it" and trying to look big as Cameron is With his threats to Putin as are the Rest of the idiots in power are doing with sheer unbelievable arrogance, taking and having "No
Concern with respect to Public Opinion

Sorry Kaz, but in the cases of Poland and the Baltic states we would not be following anyone but the NATO treaty we are a signatory to : Attack one, you attack us all.

It was NATO which took the steps to sign many of the former Warsaw Pact countries after the fall of the USSR; and it is the NATO treaty they signed that is supposed to offer them protection. Ukraine is not a member of NATO otherwise we could already be at war.

Some might say that the NATO eastern expansion has caused Russia to take steps to strengthen its position.

Yes, and I think they would be right. If Mexico signed a treaty with Russia and let Russian troops perform military exercises near the border with Texas, the Americans would go nuts. In effect, this is what NATO is doing to Russia.
