Dame Helena Kennedy

Postby cromwell » 17 Feb 2013, 15:19

This lady was on the Andrew Marr show this morning. God, she was annoying.
She is one of these persons - ultra confident, knows the answer to every question under the sun and can never be wrong.
She expects to be allowed to talk uninterrupted for as long as she wants, but does not accord the same courtesy to other people. As soon as someone says something she disagrees with, she is in there talking over them.
There are way too many people like that on TV. If the country is so blessed with people who can never, ever be wrong, how come we are in the mess that we are?
It's a mystery!

I don't think she was falling out this morning; she just couldn't shut up.

eta - she was also on the BBC news having a go at Teresa May, saying politicians are targetting foreign criminals because it is 'popular'.
Well, God forbid any politicians should follow the will of the majority of the people, eh?

Who is she anyway? There's far too many self-appointed "experts" given public credence these days ......

Would it be Helena Kennedy QC, Trotskyist, Labour activist and Human Rights expert?

No surprises that she's against "the people" then.
