I can understand the mother's grief and apparent anger.

However, what she said has appeared to work against her. The official timeline of events and the pleas for help from the public, their timings, made by the the Met do not fit her narrative.

It must be terribly hard for her to accept what has happened, but the police did not kill him and there is nothing they could have done to prevent his death.
