Well now, The Electoral Commission has raised concerns about British Pakistani and Bangladeshi communities and voting fraud. The report also found voters feel postal voting was "unsafe" and concerns were also raised about an "informal approach" to proxy voting.
Sort of flies in the face of what politicians want.
As for the percentages v seats won. It has been known since forever that there is no correlation whatsoever between the two for the simple reason that we have FPTP and not proportional representation. Any attempt to make x % = y seats is nothing more than a best guess.
I also see that Sky and the BBC are trying to outdo each other with election coverage. They not only have countdown to the election proper, but countdowns to the campaigns starting. If people re not already put off by politics they will be come voting day!
