Yes if you are referred and are ill enough you will, quite rightly, be shown straight to a cubicle, bypassing triage and the queues - it happened to me when I was expecting H and had hyperemesis (the same thing Princess Kate had) The doc took one look at me, got me to try to walk a straight line - I weaved all over the room - my speech was becoming incoherent, and he told my ex to take me straight to A&E where they would be waiting with a drip set up - and they were!
