Arshid Hussain, 40, was jailed for 35 years while siblings Basharat, 39, and Bannaras, 36, were jailed for 25 and 19 years respectively. Their uncle, Qurban Ali, 53, who was found guilty of conspiracy to rape, was jailed for 10 years.

Well done that Judge. Let us now hope for more of these types of sentences for all sex offenders regardless or race, creed, colour or status.

The sad part is that they will only have to serve 2/3 of their sentences before being eligible for release....

Interesting to note that Theresa May now has the power to strip those of the defendants who took out British citizenship, when they came here, of that citizenship, and deport them. Interesting to see if that is what ultimately happens .....

That is what definitely should happen. (but I doubt if it will - human rights?)

well my money's on no deportation-human rights lawyers will see to that

what a shame there is no longer hanging -cos that is what they should have

I would go further and deport the buggars now, let Pakistan or wherever they come from pay for their keep

And mine Saundra, I would also treat those in Westminster and those in the BBC to a lengthy period in Jail, regardless of their age.

Don't get me started on the BBC!

Tony Hall, the director, and his mates in the BBC Trust have played a blinder in deflecting criticism of the BBC and the Smith report by sacking Tony Blackburn; and it has worked. The media has focussed on Blackburn with only a few lines given to the whitewash that is the inquiry report.

The Director who was being interviewed on TV I found positively nauseating, I think I am right that he said he had been with the organisation for fifteen years.. Well I for one wouldn't trust him any further than I could throw him. He never answered a straight question and evaded anything that might show him up and incriminate the BBC and himself for what it is. He didn't impress the majority in my opinion who saw and listened to his waffle and he certainly did not impress me.
