The fear machine is in full flight

Budget day today. Expect our "uber positive" Chancellor to suddenly find dark clouds on the horizon and take pre-emptive action to head off..

Translation? Brexit is bad and he's going to start making us pay for it now, not in 2 years time....

I hate this fear machine business.... If they had a real, true, case for how bad things are going to be with real worked examples, then get it out. Force the Leave camp to do the same. Let us make an informed choice. In fact if they had a real case for how good it is for the UK to be in the EU, put that one up and make the OUT camp break it down.

Instead it's all fear and manipulation. If that is the best they have got, then I would be voting out just on principle rather than opinion.

I have said all along that both sides should put up their case and argue for it.

Instead we have both sides crystal ball gazing what they think the other might say and then to pre-emptively slag it off. All they are doing is playing with our hearts rather than exercising our minds. If the UK public is stupid enough to fall for such tactics then it deserves what it gets: I no longer care.
