I've been updating myself on what has been happening in Sweden with immigrants...

Whilst the reader may descend into horror whilst reading the abject failure of a policy which was insanity to even try, or at the sheer cost of those policies, what is the most chilling of all is this.

If a person publicly questions the mainstream narrative and top-down practice of mass-immigration and refugee intakes that are altering Sweden from the outside in and the multicultural policies that are altering it from the inside out, then they are likely to be called xenophobic, fascist, racist or Nazi. In fact, critics of immigration are being hunted down, exposed on television, and intimidated "in a sort of 21st century televised witch-hunt". And on January 1st 2015 a new law was enacted that allows for the criminal prosecution of anyone who is critical of immigration.

Is it any wonder that an openly Fascist Neo Nazi party is clawing it's way to be close to the second largest party in Sweden???

I believed that SD would remain the third largest party for a while, causing more and more trouble until they finally made it to second largest.

However, with the introduction of that 2015 law, I believe they will hit second largest at the next election and, depending on how the main parties handle the whole situation, may hit the largest party by 2022.

At which point, I am sure, the EU will step in and try to unseat the winners as they did in Austria.

We have a long way to fall. However if we don't get out of the EU we will fall.

BTW on another note did everyone read the terms of the "Turkey" deal. The one where everyone who makes it illegally to the Greek shore is entitled to an individual processing before being returned to Turkey. Meaning Greece will need hundreds, if not thousands, of judges in the islands to process them.....

This is not just insanity. It is a slow form of cultural suicide!

When I fist read this I was appalled so I went to look at the link.

The link took me to the article, which I read in full, but it soon became apparent that I was reading a right-wing rant so I went to look up the Council of European Canadians and sure enough here are its beliefs.

We believe that existing strategies for immigration reform have not been successful and must be abandoned. We believe that assimilation (of non-Europeans in the current state of mass immigration) would be fatal to our European heritage

With that I went back to the original artilce and followed about 15 links from it and most of them took me to other right-wing publications or organisations. The most stand-out pair were the The Gatestone Institute and the Daily Caller, talk about ranting... but I digress. My main interest was in the quote from Suff because in the article it provides two links. One goes to Gatestone and the other leads to the actual law, eventually, and guess what, it is nothing like as described by the Canadians.

The Swedish law is not that dissimilar to our own laws on hate speech. It does not prevent criticism, but it does prevent the use of provocative or insulting language if making criticism and not just criticism of immigration.

I had the feeling they were a right wing group. However it does not change the fundamentals of what is going on there.

The Swedish government themselves said that they needed to do MORE to integrate those who do not want to integrate. I also have direct experience of how the immigrants live and exist within Sweden and it is an uneasy truce where one side keeps on giving and the other side keeps on taking.

As for the "reasonably worded" law about using inflammatory language to criticise immigration??? Claiming that those immigrants are intolerant of Swedish culture and norms IS classified as "inflammatory". So, in essence, if not in direct wording, this article is correct.

What they said about police and emergency services is a matter of record and there are video's on youtube of police being attacked as they respond to a call out in Islamic neighbourhoods.

It's going to drive more right wing voting and the Swede's don't need any more reason to vote for a bunch of Neo Nazi headbangers than they already have. Most people meet Swede's from the cities or the industrialised countryside. But the real countryside in Sweden hides some of the most right wing, intolerant and hidebound people in the entirety of the EU.

I have decided that from now on I'm going to ignore what is going on regarding immigrants.

It is obvious that my views are way out of line with what is now accepted as being the norm.

I was born in England, but the England I now live in is almost foreign to me, and I can't turn the clock back.

Afterthought the next morning:- After sleeping on it, and reading today's paper, I've come to the conclusion
that ignoring this subject is just impossible.

Sweden has effectively committed cultural suicide.

My parent's generation was harder than mine. We have had it easy compared to them. In the future my children's generation may have to recapture their grandparent's toughness, because the future may become harsher and more violent than what we have now.

ps Poland was going to take 7,000 "refugees". The Polish PM has now changed her mind, she's not taking any. It is the only sensible thing to do.

Poland is quite right. The EU has catastrophically failed to secure it's borders from belligerent terrorists. Taking any which might contain those terrorists would not be in the interests of the Polish people. Something the Polish Government does not appear to have forgotten.

I often wonder if our benign and accepting nature (as a whole in the UK), is actually down to the fact that most of us never really get close enough to understand those people we champion so much?

Mrs S had a friend from birth until she died in her 60's. That friend of hers was a liberal to the core, always voted liberal, believed in liberal policies and tolerance and the whole package. Often when they talked on the phone after 9/11, she would say to Mrs S "You can't say that about them they're just people". Tolerance to the "different" et al....

Until the day that the Dundee Mosque had an open day. Iris, as she would, decided to go and see for herself. She arrived, a grey haired, handicapped, older woman in a wheelchair, to "see for herself".

The end result?

The next time she phoned Mrs S, she said this. "I don't care who they are, where they come from or whether they try and integrate or not. I just want to know when they are going to LEAVE".

Her conclusion? They were condescending, misogynistic, intolerants who she did not believe belonged in her open and tolerant country.

When Ideals hit reality the resounding crash is heard from far, far away.....

I see from today's paper that Kent police stopped two lorries and found 26 migrants in each one.

The disturbing aspect is that there seems to have been far more men than women and children.

Cause for concern????

The will probably send for grandmothers, grandfathers, brothers, sisters, spouses, children and anyone else in the extended family. They are entitled aren't they?
