Pretty accurate

I was speaking to a friend last night re the EU referendum. He said three things.

1. He didn't know enough about it to vote.
2. Everybody he knows is going to vote leave, but
3. Everybody on the TV news is saying we should stay.

And after last night's BBC news he certainly has a point. It led with Mystic Meg, aka George Osborne saying that if we left the EU we would be permanently worse off.
Permanently.
It is the most ridiculous statement to make because it presupposes the Osborne can see the future from now until the end of time. It is ridiculous, beyond ridiculous - and the BBC news led with it last night.

Still no positive message about the upside of the EU, just Project Fear. It's depressing, really.

The only permanent thing is that if we stay we will be permanently denied the ability to make our way in the world and determine our security and economy.

As for Osborne saying we'll be permanently worse off is like saying that nobody in the UK is of the political capability of Australia or New Zealand. Great, vote leave and get rid of the lot of them and get someone who actually knows how to run a country.

Because, apparently, we now only have the US equivalent of the State Legislature.

Another point I'd like debated but there is no debate. Just Fear, Fear, Fear....
