Tuberculosis

There is a programme on Westminster at the moment regarding TB in Romania that is rife and this includes the MDR and XDR strain...
Now the gates have been opened to Eastern Europeans and we are expecting a flood of more Romanians and Eastern Europeans to enter Britain. Health checks before allowing them to enter this country? the answer is NO!!
We are going through a very worrying time, Yasmin my youngest daughter has had a wracking cough for far too long we have constantly told her to get herself checked out as antibiotics have not solved the problem, the last amount being three lots that have not worked.. She also had a primary complex that she caught in the Philippines at the age of six...and was on medication for two years following our return to the UK.
She went to see her doctor last week, who said that if one has had a primary complex any tests will come up positive. She is to undergo numerous tests this week we are praying that the outcome will be favuorable.
I am shocked that no health checks are carried out on immigrants prior to their entering this country, TB rates have become very worrying in UK
and are spiralling, the costs are phenominal, time to stop blaming the aged on the state of the NHS and look to the irresponsible actions of allowing thousands upon thousands into the country without health checks.

There should definitely be health checks, it is madness not to have them!!!! The government cares nothing for the health of our citizens.............. :(

TB was pretty much eradicated here but now is rife again, especially in big cities with ethnic populations :(

Sadly, TB is becoming resistant to all known antibiotics but lots of vibes for your daughter`s tests, Kate. Dreadful that we still welcome with open arms all the phoney asylum seekers who can and often do bring a whole medical dictionary load of diseases into the country, some just to get free treatment.

30,000 more due from now!! We know that will be doubled probably What an absolute disgrace our system has become..No one with Aids can be deported, Human Rites you know, TB is as said spiralling from the ethnic communities and the Eastern Europeans and other immigrants who have freely entered this country with impunity.. My daughter works with vulnerable women of all races as did Gus, the care and priority they receive is amazing this applies to immigrants legal and illegal, and the strain on maternity and hospitals is phenomenal.. However it is easier to blame the aged for the insurmountable problems the country faces.
