But for some strange reason some people
take exception to it...The old sayings are always the best. If a dog cocks it's leg at a lamppost it is not an act of vandalism. The dog is just being a dog....

What is she apologising for?
Is it to the people of Sawley for calling it "wherever this is" when a microphone was shoved in her face?
Is it for calling a man a racist when he picked out a Polish family on benefits as "spongers"?
Good grief! It is time the 'officially offended on everyone's behalf' brigades got a life.

It used to be Nigel who took all the flack for being a racist - its makes a change to see that there are a few more politicians to share his burden. Free movement of labour is perhaps a nice idea in theory but it doesn't take into account differentials in wages, strain on the infrastructure, schools, nhs etc. Not to mention free movement for any undesirable individual who wishes to do this country harm.

You are right, Meds, anybody who speaks out against immigration, whether they are from the EU or outside, is automatically tagged as 'racists'.
Thankfully the general public now see the 'racist' card for what it is and it has lost any meaning. Anyone calls me a racist and I will wear it as a badge because I know that I am not.

I don't mind what anyone calls me.
I have my own opinions on most subjects, and I've probably given more serious thought
than the ones who might feel inclined to criticise. What has happened to "free speech"?
