Now let us be honest, the deal agreed by Obama goes nowhere near what is required, but it is a deal. Trump would kill that and with it any hope that other nations would stick to their part of the bargain.

Have you been following this years Arctic season? I don't think this year will be the one to really turn people's heads but it is breaking all records at the moment. Area, Extent, Volume and Heat of both the atmosphere and the sea.

Sadly the "Black Swan" event, everyone in the climate community is simply sitting there waiting to happen, is unlikely to arrive until next year at the least. Allowing this "straight talking" bonehead to get into power before he's made to look like a complete idiot.

Or, just maybe, he'll believe that the Chinese went to the Arctic and stole all the ice (and hid it somewhere too), just to make us buy cheap Chinese solar panels.....

Not really, I have been looking at things like the Indian drought and temps above 51ºC, the Bangladeshi "storm" that forced 600,000+ people to seek safety, the Canadian fires - those sorts of things.

If I were the Chinese Industry Minister I would now be looking at cheap Air Con units, solar powered of course, and floating homes.

Yep I've been tracking them too.

In the Arctic we've seen the warmest start to any season ever recorded. We've seen the lowest number of freezing degree days in the central arctic and the Ice volume has fallen back to 2012 levels ready for the start of the melt season.

All pretty catastrophic but I still think 2017 is the year not 2016. I think it will go more like 2006 and 2011.

You're not seeing it because the press won't release it. We've broken just about every single record there is this spring in the Arctic. Well all the records for melting and ice shrinkage and heat. The cold records and growth records remain intact.

Also we're over 400ppm CO2. A record El Nino..... Now they're calling for a very active Atlantic hurricane season and the Tornado season got off with a bang.
