19 today, 19,000 in six months time.
Why were they not returned to France? All this does is tell the illegals and the smugglers that they only need to get them half way, or even near half way and they're home free, in the UK and not being pushed back over the border.
When do we see our poor politicians throwing up their hands and saying "Well what could we do they were drowning".?
Then answer is simple. Take them back to France and dump them on the shore, where they are safe, in a 1st world country and have full support services available to them; if they would just ask.
So, all the fear mongering about leaving the EU will mean all those immigrants are coming over is for nothing. They're coming over anyway, by any means, not matter what the risk to them and their children.
