Civil war, lite?

Postby Workingman » 29 Jun 2016, 11:50

We have Remainers protesting about Brexit. Leavers using any insult available against Remainers. A possible leadership challenge in Labour, with many of its MPs misreading the wishes of their constituents. Cameron cowardly stepping away form what he was elected and promised to do, creating a leadership election in Toryland. BoJo the favourite with MPs, but disliked and mistrusted by ordinary voters, likely to become PM even though nobody voted for him - see G Brown for how that went down in the country. Calls for a quick general election to sort out the mess, but one that could end up with no clear winner causing even more of a mess.

We might not start fighting with guns and bombs, but we sure as hell are making a good go of things without them.

It is becoming clear that the Remain camp had no plan for losing, and Leave no plan for winning.

A Halal butchers was firebombed in Pleck on Monday. The police need a result and quickly here because the potential for "civil war" is not just in politics.

I condemn it, as I'm sure everyone else does, but to my mind, if you put water in a pot, then deliberately screw the lid down tight, then start boiling it, sooner or later it's going to explode. That is just what we have done by mishandling immigration over the last 20-odd years. Politicians and liberals, both here AND in the EU, need to take a long hard look at themselves .....

Pretty much what the polls were showing then...

Not a lot of planning done then was there... But they're MP's... Planning is not really their forte is it? Otherwise we would not have financial crashes and economic disasters......

The only thing most of them plan to do is to feather their nests. :(
