So we are told Easyjet might be leaving the UK.

Really?

When we dig into the articles we find that they are in the process of getting an EU operators license which is independent of the UK one. Sensible. It says it might have to move it's base of operations to the EU; maybe, it already has a subsidiary in Easyjet Switzerland which can host this license as Switzerland is in Schengen, so maybe not.

However, when we dig into the nuts and bolts, we hear that it would likely be _4_ staff moving to the EU in order to host this license, that the main base of operations and the 1,000 staff it employs would not move from Luton (hardly surprising given that 90% of Easyjet flights are to/from the UK) and that very little would actually change.

Yet the headlines (of the remain press), trumpet the "loss" of Easyjet.

Honestly I'm getting even sicker of the post Brexit vote hype than I was of the pre Brexit vote hype. They all need to shut up and settle down and let everyone work out what they really need to do up until we trigger article 50. All this hype does is damage British industry for no good purpose.

However you might want to consider what these people think. They think damaging British industry is the best way to get us back into the EU. A little bit rich considering what they accused the Leave campaign of.
