The 'Donald' is the Republican candidate for US president and the media, politicians, political commentators and ex-spurts did everything they could to prevent it. No matter what they threw at him he came up trumps (pun intended).

There has been a tectonic shift in US politics and those mentioned above miscalculated on the grandest scale. Their tactics did exactly the opposite of what was intended, but instead of changing tack they stupidly carried on doing the same, again, and again, and again.

What a choice the Yanks now have: Go for Trump or go for the self-serving, para criminal Clintoness.

There is an anti politics mood in many countries now. Hilary Clinton is on record as saying that she would attack Iran if she were President.

Trump may be a blustering oaf but he says he wouldn't get involved with more middle east proxy wars, so I'd vote for him just on that.
