The bloody audacity of these people!

Conservative peer Baroness Wheatcroft (who?) has said the Lords could delay Article 50. A legal challenge on whether the government can trigger A50 without going through Parliament is being heard later this year.
She says: "However, if it comes to a bill, I think the Lords might actually delay things. I think there's a majority in the Lords for remaining."
Excuse me, madam, but the Lords is an unelected collection of political has-beens and friends of the Elite, with a few Bishops thrown in. It does not matter a damn if every one of you is for remaining, the referendum was a vote by the people and the people voted to leave.
She also adds: "And I would hope, while we delayed things, that there would be sufficient movement in the EU to justify putting it to the electorate, either through a general election or a second referendum."
Oh she does, does she. Well I think that the majority who voted to leave would think differently, as will many of us who voted to remain. They might go further and think that it is time to remove their Lords and Ladies from the House and set it up in a new form, one that reflects the wishes of the electorate and not those of the chosen few.
