Nicola Sturgeon yap yap yapping at the heels of Theresa May again. It is only to be expected I suppose. I never thought I would wish for Alex Salmond to come back..

I missed Wee Eck within 6 months. Can't stand the woman and I spend quite a lot of time reading Scottish news, so I see a LOT more of her ramblings than most English do.

As WM says, if she wants Indyref#2 she's going to have to say "Pretty Please with knobs on" if she wants to make it stick.

However, here's the reality. Scotland will not have another election till after Brexit. SNP has a minority government in Scotland. The majority don't want Indyref. So she'd have to convince enough MSP's that they should risk their future on a vote they don't really want.

Sturgeon won't go cap in hand to Westminster unless she has a solid vote in the Scottish government to have another referendum. Without an overall majority the chances of that are not good.

She's just making the right noises getting ready to try and force her government into voting for Indyref#2. The best hope is they vote not. But the best result of all is that they vote yes, May gives them the OK and the Scots vote, resoundingly, NO.

But, until that time, it's best to ignore every word Sturgeon says. If you think about it, how often do the press report what she says? Only when she's saying something they want to hear.
