So it seems that France is likely to elect another Left President, if only to block Le Pen, no matter how much they don't want a Left president.

Germany is showing a poll that says 2/3 of Germans do not want Merkel as the next chancellor. Which shows that Schultz is a very astute politician in standing down as the president of the EU parliament. But it shows something much more interesting. It shows that being Chancellor of Germany is _MUCH_ more powerful than being the president of the EU parliament.

That should be significant food for thought.

Then, yet again, the ECB, Germany and the IMF are at each others throats over Greece and the terms of the bailout, all over again. Leaving Greece wondering where it stands vis a vis being summarily ejected fro the Euro.

And we thought we were interesting....
