50 billion pounds seems a lot of money to hand over to the EU just to make our escape.

It is what we signed up for, and as I said in another thread, it could cost us a hell of a lot more not to pay it.

Calm heads are needed to deal with this. There is a time for playing hard-ball and a time to sit down with a nice glass of something and talk.

I am thinking that the hard-ball route will do us no good at all.

I hope that calm heads do prevail at the end of the day and that a sensible, workable and fair solution is found.

Because if it isn't, there will be no winners, only losers across the whole of the continent.

Ah yes. That would be them, inc the UK, democratically voting 27:1 against the Poles. Absolutely disgusting! :roll:
