There is a one-liner in the Times today that Mrs May has rejected an invitation to address the EU Parliament in public.

Good for her. There's no point going to a meeting where you know you'll receive nothing but opprobrium and criticism, is there? Why play up to the EU demands for ritual humiliation? We're a soverign country and they can go [deleted word] it up!

She is hopeless in situations she cannot control, hence the carefully picked, small venues during the GE campaign Totally unsuited for her role, she would be far better as a top civil servant, where her need for secrecy and order would be an asset

She's not good in public. It was obvious to most people when she got into bother with the Police Federation, but not to the Tory MP's who voted her in. Maybe if she went to Brussels and slipped Jean-Claude Junker some export strength gin things might go better.

I see that Lord Harris, party donor and "Conservative through and through", has come out and said that Theresa May is a disaster for the party and for the country. He even says that the country would be better off under a strong Labour government. Not one led by Corbyn, but one with a Blair MkII type at the helm.

He even suggest that moves be made to get Ruth Davidson elected as an MP and for her to then be propelled into leadership.

So much for united, strong and stable, eh?

What a cock-up.

Whatever next? How on earth is this matter going to be solved?
